PROGRAM OVERVIEW:
The FUMC Youth program is a Biblically-based, safe place designed for students in grades 6-12 who have an interest in growing in their faith while at the same time want fellowship and want to have fun! Youth Group occurs several times per month on Sundays and we offer numerous opportunities for activities outside of church as well. The program is led by Dr. Dave Breslin and a team of dedicated volunteers. Dave and all volunteers have completed, and passed, a rigorous background check process as it is of the utmost importance to ensure our youth are surrounded by adults of positive impact and integrity.

SERVICE OPPORTUNITIES: We Need You! Let Dave know if you can help at one or both service opportunities this month:-- PANCAKE DINNER, FEBRUARY 19 from 5:00-7:00: Youth will be helping serve at the Pancake Dinner on the 19th.
-- The Youth Group will help serve at the FUMC SOUP KITCHEN on Monday, February 20th from 10:00-1:00. We are limited to between 6-8 teens, and 2 spots have been reserved for the 20th.
CONFIRMATION 2023!Pastor Alex and Dave are starting to prepare for CONFIRMATION 2023, which will start in February! If you have a child in 6th-12th grade and you are interested in finding out more about this year's class, please contact Dave.
NEEDED...CONFIRMATION MENTORS!Do you have an hour a week to give to a young person in our church? We are looking for dedicated adults who are interested in mentoring a 2023 Confirmation Class member this spring. Interested? Contact Dave for more information.
QUICK NOTE ...Unless otherwise stated, Youth Group will take place every Sunday in the youth room at the church from 10:00-11:00. Join us for food, trivia, laughs, and a study of the book of Proverbs each week!

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
-- We are seeking several caring adults who would like to help out with our growing teen community! Please contact Dave for more information.
-- A youth group member will be scheduled to read scripture during the service each 3rd Sunday of the month. We are looking for kids that would be willing to be a reader. Contact Dave if interested and we will make sure to get you in the rotation.
